Getting Started

After importing Behavior Designer the Welcome Window will automatically open. This window contains links to many useful resources in order for you to get the most out of Behavior Designer. Behavior Designer also includes many sample scenes allowing you to play with various behavior tree examples. These samples can be imported by selecting the Samples menu option and then clicking Import Samples:

The Behavior Designer editor can be access from the Tools menu at Tools -> Opsive -> Behavior Designer -> Editor. If you are just getting started with behavior trees take a look at the Resources page as it contains many links to other resources which go over the behavior tree flow. We recommend also looking at the Conditional Aborts page as that is an extremely important behavior tree concept. If you have any questions feel free to reach out on the forum, discord, or email.
