- The first-person arms and third-person character generally use separate animator controllers (as in the demo)
- If you're using a custom model and/or animations, make sure that the rigs match (e.g. check the rig in the import settings on the animation's Rig tab)
We are using a custom rig but default animations that are in UCC. Seems we need the exact same bones , at least in ratio for them to work properly, does that make sense?
Yeah, if you've got a different rig then you may need to assign it to the animations in the import settings as I described before, otherwise the animations will be targetting bones incorrectly.
