Added weapon to player and how it is always in their hands and I can't use it

Just wondering if anybody is having this issue? I'm trying to add the Trident and Underwater gun to my character.

Thanks that set me in the right direction. It truned out that I need to chnange lots of setttings in the Character controller and animation controller to get the trident and underwater gun worksing. As some of the settings don't copy over correctly. Especially the settings for the animnation controller for the trident and the underwater gun, which change their settings to random ones for some reason when you copy and paste them over.
