That's a start, pun intended. But how do I get that information to the selector, none of the methods for it, or the AnimatorAudioStateSet accepts an Ability/AbilityStarter/PlayerInput parameter.The ability starter has the PlayerInput as a parameter so you can check for what button is down.
So not only would I have to create a custom selector (which I was expecting), but I would have to also create a custom MeleeWeapon script to make use of the new NextState(PlayerInput _input) method?
I just want to make sure I don't build something that already exists.
