Changing whole rig

Hello !
We prepared whole character using opsive. With a lot of custom abilities and settings and custom-components. And while we are fine with that, we want to change rig of our character. And we dont want to build every single new character by character-builder, adding components, settings references, settings up abilities, that would be awful while we have a lot of characters.
The question is: if we have only change the rig of our character, best as a prefab-varrant is it possible ? What about re-bind the bones (is opsive using reference to bones ?) and item-slots ?

You can use a core character prefab without a rig, and then create prefab variants which add the rig. Still you have to do some manual work:

1.) Add the item slots to the rig
2.) Add the items to the item slots
3.) Assign the correct avatar to the animator
4.) If you are using "body steps" for the character foot effects, you have to assign the feet bones.
5.) If the rigs are different, you might need to adjust the items' transforms on the item slots, and the IK target positions.

I've done this for my AI characters, and it works perfectly fine.
