UIS/UCC equip default loadout

Hi,

I have added a weapon to my UCC character as default loadout, and it is visible in the bridge as current inventory. But I can only equip this item through the UIS UI, not with the standard UCC keys (like toggle, etc.). How can I achieve this?

Only items in the "Equippable" Item Collections can be equipped.
The reason we do this is such that we do not spawn all the items that the character has in its inventory, we only spawn the ones that are "Equipped" in the UI.
Think of it as "Soft Equipped" and "Active Equipped".

So instead of adding the Item in the Loadout collection, you can add it directly to one of the "Equippable" Item Collections and it will be loaded and Equipped (if possible) on start.
