Quantity number vs individual slots in inventory

I can not figure how to make an item show as quantity as in picture 1. I thought it was by using the materials category, but that did not work. Consequently, I tried adding all the categories trying to get the item definition to show number via numbers as opposed to slots, and nothing seems to be working. Thus, I am coming to you for help. Thank you.

Your categories can be mutable/immutable and unique/common

To set items in a stack with quantity in a single slot they need to be common
