Move on a moving boat

Hello, we are trying to implement the feature where player will be able to stand and move around on a moving boat that follows a spline waypoint using the plugin called simple way point system. I checked the section on how to set up the moving platform and it did not seem to support spline movement, is there a way I could use the simple way point system with the moving platform？

I haven't tried Simple Waypoint System with the controller but you should be able to use the Move With Object ability with the boat.
