Adjusting Arms to Weapons

My post that starts it off on the above link is post #3563, which is where I initially asked the question... his answers to that initial question and the subsequent follow-ups are below that. He was quite helpful with his answers and the demo.

ok all is workling and fixed with FPS Mesh Tool, Discovered its a Pivit issue i was having. the pivit point was set to the Feet of the FPS Mesh, which is not what we want you get rotation results like this.

where as if you create the FPS mesh tool as normal then parent it to an empty object and move the animator component to the new empty that will become the new pivit point. adjust your FPS mesh as normal to adjust its pivit point to about where the weapon trigger would be and this will give you much better results when trying to move the weapon around and rotate it with the spring system

Before when trying to aim i was getting results like this that took me over 30 mins to adjust, and this is probably the best i got it with the pivit set at the invisible feet i was getting extremely odd rotations

after adjusting the pivit i was able to get results like this in just a couple of minutes
