How to get started (goal: 3rd person, point & click, A*, Behaviour Tree with Movement Pack)

Can anybody give me a pointer on how to get started. After spending 6 hours on a demo scene the only thing I managed is that it builds without errors but when I click, the character just appears at the target without moving. What do you think is the best way to get into using the opsive assets? I have UFPS and 3rd person controller, Behaviour Trees, Movement Pack, Deathmatch and Ultimate Inventory. Any help is appreciated.

You'll want to take it one step at a time. The character controller, Behavior Designer, and inventory are large assets in their own right so it'll be overwhelming trying to do everything at once.

I would first start by creating a character and forgetting about AI or inventory. Once you get a good grasp of the character controller you can then add in another part.
