Errors upon install

Encountered these two errors upon installing with the installer.

Is this a fresh project? What version of Unity are you using? Those methods were introduced in 2022.3.x and are behind a scripting define symbol so will only compile if you are using that version.
 
I am getting this error as well. It happens when installing both third person controller and UFPS. I have a completely fresh project. I'm using Unity 2023.1.19f1.
 
Try downloading the packages again from the Package Manager. My guess is that you are getting a version built for a previous version of Unity.
 
I am using the newest 2023 version, idk why that happens, the demo doesn't work for me currently because of those so I removed it. Sorry for the delay in my response. I am on discord 24/7 and don't check forums.
 
Did you download the package again to ensure you are getting the correct version?
