Thread 'Buggy inspector GUI in UCC 3.3.3'

Hello, this is a strange issue that has cost me a good chunk of my afternoon. When upgrading to UCC 3.3.3 in my main project, I ended up with broken foldout GUI when selecting character or item prefabs in a scene. I initially thought that there had to be something wrong in my own project which is now using Unity 6.3, but I then created a new test project in Unity 6.0.60, imported UCC 3.3.3 and got the same issue when dragging the demo Atlas and rifle into a scene (see the attached screenshots).
