Update process

I typically purchase assets from the asset store which makes updating them easy later. With UCC, I was anxious to get going asap, so I bought it from the Opsive store, but now I'm realizing I'm not sure how I'll know when there are updates. Will the asset prompt me somehow, or do I need to check the forums every so often? Thanks!
 
There was an update a couple of days ago but I messed up the email process so you didn't get an email with that update. I *think* I figured it out now so you should receive emails. I'll also be posting on the announcements section of the forum with the release notes.
 
You should be able to log into your store account and then download it from there.
 
I have a similar question, I bought TPC and UFPS from asset store, where, how and when can I update them?

Just for clarity, I own both TPC and UFPS which I purchased from the Unity store. When I add UCC to my Unity cart it charges for the full $180 price. Is the discount only available via your site's store?
 
In that case you'll want to upgrade to UFPS 2 and TPC 2. On the Asset Store you aren't able to group upgrades into a single asset. Once you have FPC and TPC it is the equivalent of UCC (the same exact set of files).
 
That works! Thanks Justin. Is there really a difference between UFPS and UFPM? Perhaps there is a page with the feature breakdown? Thanks again.
