UMA

Hi all,

I recently imported the UMA integration in my project with UCC, and I found all this compiling errors that do not allow to run the scene:

It is normal? Does it happen to anyone? Can it be caused because the UMA link in the Download site of Opsive is outdated? Any possible quick fix for this errors without deleting instructions or namespaces that maybe later I could need in UMA?

As I never used UMA I do not know how to proceed.

I appreciate any help.

Rafael.

You will need to make sure you have the UMA asset installed as well as the UMA integration https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/characters/uma-2-unity-multipurpose-avatar-35611

If you don't need UMA in your project at the moment then you shouldn't install the integration.

Thanks for replying.

I solved the issue. It was caused because the asset in Opsive download web is obsolete, I only had to download UMA2 from Unity Asset Store to solve all the compile errors.

Cheers,

To be clear, for others reading this, it is not obsolete. You needed the UMA2 package from the asset store and the download from Opsive provides bridging scripts. Your errors were because you need UMA2 itself.
This is the same for probably all integration downloads, you need the actual asset too.

I see...

In that case, the documentation of Opsive should be more clear because I thought that the packages in the download with invoice link https://opsive.com/downloads/?pid=923 were Assets itself. Now, I know that I have to pay if I want to use the non-free assets of the list.

Thanks for the explanation!!
