Swimming with Items vs no Items

I notice for my character when swimming I would be pushed back kinda far from the wall, I was able to pin point it to having items equipped.

Made a fresh project unity 2019.3.4 imported UCC third person version, then import the swimming package, I added extra slot to nolan to have nothing equipped.

When swimming with trident or underwatergun equipped you can swim right up against the wall, when you unequip the items to nothing, you get pushed back a lil distance

To reproduce this, just load the swimming demo, add 1 extra slot to nolan and equip set 3.

Adding @Sarah. This looks like the pullback animation for no weapon is more than the pullback animation with a weapon.
 
Still kinda semi new, but where could I find those values? sorry if this dumb question :D it should be somewhere in the animation controller ?
