ONYX: Combat Devolved

I don't know what the hell this is going to turn into, but I want to poke fun at old FPS tropes and show some love for the amazing level and weapon design of major players in the genre. I'm starting with the music equivalent of a cover of Halo 2's "Ivory Tower" because it's a perfect mix of open sniping and tight corrider action.

No big promises, just a constant work in progress and a consistent download link.

Lots of love for UFPS 2.0!!!

Did you have Houdini FX or Indie? I talk to the support time from time to time, and they're pretty helpful with licensing issues.

I'm using Indie version 16.5.

Aw dang. Well I'm going to attempt to make all assets in Houdini Indie; just a personal challenge. Let me know if you get a new license. I'd love to share scripts with you.
 
I think I figured out the height changes to be multiples of 1 meter. There's ground level, 2nd level (3 meters up) and 3rd level (6 meters up). And then there's the basement!

So I've tried the latest Unity 2018.3 beta, and while the progressive GPU lightmapper works, it doesn't seem to be compatible with the High Definition Render Pipeline. In fact, I couldn't even get Unity's built in Post Processing Stack to work with HDRP, which feels like a waste.

After a lot of research and testing, these are the plugins that helped me achieve clean, gorgeous visuals in UFPS.

CTAA (Cinematic Temporal Anti-Aliasing) for $195.

Wow, these really look super polished. The asset stack seems quite expensive in joint, but I had checked Beautify before and it really looks very neat.

Looking forward to see more of your game.
