Nav Mesh Agent Movement incorrect when character is aiming

Hi,

I have an AI UCC character than is walking and running around the level using Nav Mesh Agent Movement without any issue. That is until the character's Aim ability is enabled, at that point the character will run directly towards its aim target causing the character to go way off course, drop from ledges etc. This same behavior is also present when a Shootable Weapin is being used. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this normal?

What movement type are you using? Try switching it to adventure if you aren't already using it.
 
I just set the Behavior Designer AI agent to always aim and am seeing the same thing. I'll get this fixed for the next version and if I fix it early I'll be sure to post it here. Thanks for letting me know!
 
It is in the next update. On the Aim ability you can specify if it should control rotation.
