Integration between UCC/UIC and UMA

How far is the integration effort to make UCC and UIC work with UMA, on the opsive forum all posts related to UMA seem to be from like 2020, has anything progressed? Or is UMA just integrated into UCC? I bought UCC a while back and now UIC so I am really hoping I can get it to play with the UMA armor/clothes models I spend quite a bit of time making
 
There are no official integration between UIS and UMA.
A few people have made it work with custom scripts though either by replacing the UIS Equipping script or overriding it.
 
That's completely up to you.
I'm assuming you'll use it mostly for equipping clothes. So a custom Equipping script is where I would advise starting.
You can have a look at the UIS "Equipper" script to get a feel for it.
