Deathmatch AI Agent won't attack player


Hi I'm struggling to get the 'Agent Aydan' prefab to attack my Player Character.

- Have a NavMesh set up and he walks around randomly between waypoints fine
- Have set his 'Enemy Layers' to 'Character'
- My character's 'root' is set to layer of 'Character'

The behaviour designer window shows the Behaviour is going to the lowest priority, so he is not 'seeing' my character...

Not sure what else to check


Also I tried placing a 'cube' in to the scene with the 'Character' layer, and only then I see a green raytrace that shows now the AI 'sees' the cube, but still not my Character - But also he still won't attack....
