Can't get A * Pathfinding working with Deathmatch AI kit

I have downloaded all the A * integrations for UCC and BD. I have AI navigation working perfectly for my custom BD trees with non-UCC characters using A * pathfinding.

The issue is getting my UCC AI agents navigating using the Deathmatch kit AND ... A * Pathfinding. They just stand there.

I've followed the integration setup steps and I don't know how to proceed after step 5 since the issue is getting A* working specifically with the Deathmatch AI.

I hope I don't have to mess with the Deathmatch BD tree😣
 
The Deathmatch AI Kit doesn't support A* out of the box. I have heard of some people getting it working but you'll need to modify the tasks in order to switch.
 
Lol that’s the response I was dreading to hear. Well at least that simplifies things. I’ll just proceed with building my own trees.

On that note, it seems more people are getting away from Unity’s mediocre navigation system. I vote for full A star support for all Opsive products where navigation is applicable.
