Bunch of climbing issues

Hello, these past days I've spent a lot of time reimplementing climbing for my player character and stumbled on a significant amount of issues, some I'm surprised I haven't reported before. Here's a video as usual :


In summary :
-You may not see it clearly on the video, but jitter and lack of smoothness can be observed on a character performing Free Climb movement.
-Horizontal movement ends with the character sliding in a jittery way. I personally fixed that by modifying the Animator and using the same logic as for vertical movement.
-Leaping allows for the character to clip a third of this collider through solid objects - and I'm not showing that in the video but horizontal leaping using the aforementioned modification leads to potentially game breaking clipping as well.
-Last but not least, no SFX is played when climbing ! The Character Foot Effects component is revealing a significant limitation which I can't believe I hadn't noticed before. I will make a separate post about this specific point. Edit : here it is. One more idea I mentioned in the video was to have an option for forward foot raycasts instead of downward ones.

This add-on really deserves some attention, it can't be used like this for professional purposes. I've managed to fix the horizontal sliding and SFX issues on my end, but I really hope it can get an update in the foreseeable future.
